Let's just clear it up, I do not enjoy Hello Kitty, she doesn't do much, I guess she's cute...but not much else. However, somehow my Dayton got exposed to her and fell in love. I tried to stop it, I discouraged it, but there was nothing I could do, she was smitten with the kitten. I think it was the pink ruffles that sealed the deal. Anyway, I folded and did her 4th birthday party in a Hello Kitty theme, ugh. We bent it towards girly and I actually really liked the way it turned out, of course Kitty had to be there, but in just a few small places :)

So I turned to my favorite place Pinterest for cake ideas and found a lot of awesome umbre cakes, below is my attempt at that, as well as a Kitty "Smash" cake. Otherwise I catered all the food, just made the desserts, cakes, sugar cookies and lemon bars.
